Really nice cultural maps of the San Francisco public transportation pulse.

Just realized that two of my (at the time) favorite campaigns are campaigns for games.
First, Dead Space 2, your mom hates Dead Space.
I have never been a gamer- well The Sims but not a hard core action gamer, but my second favorite actually made me want to give it a shot.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The fact that the game is not about being the best right away for everyone but about the progression of becoming greater and greater- going from a N00b to a Vet, thats the fun of it. You die 200000 times but you grow a little bit more everytime.

What this campaign did so nicely is that it enhanced the essential part of this gaming experience for the N00b yet not scaring away the Vet in such a great and fun way.

What before intimidated my and many others with me - is now a challenged accepted.

Not brand new but a campaign I really like and want to share.
Animation of the day that also delivers a great message - Cultivate A Better World - Chipotle

Cultivate A Better World was a call to action, and customers responded by joining Chipotle’s mission… Cultivate captured a movement, and changed how the fast food giants do business.”

For all my foreign friends- If you ever wondered what it really mean to be Swedish and how we are.

Such a great idea and exicution from AlmapBBDO and Antarctica Beer during festival times- lower drunk driving and help recycling. Mix and match and you get yourself a beer train ticket.

6 shades of blueSmall maybe to many and an insignificant observation. (we think)
I am seeing these brand logos a lot- but I havent noticed before that all of them have logos in different shades of blue. Blue is calming. It can be strong and steadfast or light and friendly. Almost everyone likes some shade of the color blue.
Blue conveys importance and confidence without being somber or sinister, hence the power suit of the corporate world and the uniforms of many police officers. Long considered a corporate color, blue, especially medium and darker shades, is associated with intelligence, stability, unity, and conservatism.
The choice of the color blue has been made- perhaps to then please everyone and calm us? or why was it chosen? In all of these 6 cases the color was chosen to represent the brand- because of what it stands for or how it stands out? If all look the same - they dont stand out and if so do they represent the same thing? Is it a color for the category or does the color even matter here? Does color make a difference and if these connotations to the color makes you choose one or the other, what is it then that makes us pick one specific product if they all look and connotate the same?It made me more interested in packaging design and what impact it has on our decision making in the aisle. I got a tip of looking at this webinar from BrainJuicer. Maybe I will get some clarity, will write about it after, but for now, me thesis is that it is not the color. But size, shape, distinctiveness and the whole package- and how it differentiate form the rest. Question: What would happen (if anything) if one of them changed their logo to green? 6 shades of blueSmall maybe to many and an insignificant observation. (we think)

For the ones that are close to me, knows my deepest dream of djing, and the ones spending time with me know just how huge of a fan I am of SHM.

Festival mode
Does it really matter that the sun isn’t shining or that you didn’t wear more clothes? Not really, because your in festival mode. Because this is a place where all you feel is warmth.
By the cuddling you accidentally have with the 10 people around you since its so crowded, by the happiness you get filled with when you have your friends around you smiling, when the base from the music makes your entire body vibrate, when that song you just love gets played and you start to jump, and even the cold beer makes you warm.  The mix of people and music do this to you, or at least to me and thats why I can not wait until the next one. A Sunday to Remember.  Festival mode

The 7th of May YouTube launched Trends Map.
6 billion views on Youtube every month world wide. Who are the people? With this we could get a glance into what people like based on culture  location, age and gender. Sure we have been able to see what has been trending before, side by side etc. But with this new graphic, interactive visualisation its not only easier but also more fun and more detailed. Visual language is (often) as important as content to create interaction.
I have been playing around with this for a while now and sure, first glance in the game women vs. men;
Women generally love to share Ellen and Men Family Guy. And for both genders at all ages- cat videos is still in the top 5 - not so chocking.
But that Peter Griffin is also rocking it for men in all ages and top 3 for women, that something I didn’t expect. (shit why Im I generalizing) Or that top 3 videos for men and women all ages are pretty much the same. (apparently it needs to stop) Playing around with this is fun, I learned something maybe you do to. The 7th of May YouTube launched Trends Map.
